From bare hillside to a cottage you already let out. The arrangement changes; the standard doesn’t. Every tie-up is made in person by Anuj Dhankar, our founder.
Your land
Your land becomes a small DugDug stay: a campsite of two or three tents, or a cottage. We design it with local builders, run it, and share what it earns.
Your cottage
A cottage or homestay that already feels like us can come under the DugDug name, with the same care, the same rituals and direct bookings.
Your campsite
The lightest touch. A small campsite on your land, listed and booked by us, with guests we’ve spoken to first.
The DugDug standard
This is the fit check. If a place can’t meet it, we’ll say so kindly and early.
A cottage or a campsite. Never a resort, never a block of rooms.
Local hands, local materials where possible, local produce in the kitchen. The money stays there.
Away from the crowds, with a view or a forest worth sitting in front of.
Hot water and a private bathroom for every tent or room.
First Chai on arrival, a sunset to sit through, a fire in the evening.
Guests reach a real person on WhatsApp and hear back within the hour.
How it works
Where it is, roughly how big, how you reach it, and what you’re hoping for. A message on WhatsApp is enough.
Access, water, power, the view, the village, and whether guests would genuinely want to be there.
Honest numbers before anyone commits: what it costs to set up, what it can realistically earn, how long to break even.
Setup with local builders, photography, pricing, and a quiet first season for the DugDug Circle before it opens to everyone.
Bookings, guests and upkeep, with monthly numbers shared openly. You own the place throughout.
