Asked before booking
The honest answers.
How cold does it get?
Cold at night, often sunny by day. Pack layers and a warm hat. The tents have heaters and extra blankets.
Will it snow?
Don’t come for snow. Come for the fire and the clear sky.
Is New Year a party?
No. It’s a fire, a quiet sky and whoever you came with. If you want a party, we’ll happily point you at one by the lake.
When should we book Christmas and New Year?
Early. Three tents, and 24 December to 2 January are peak nights that go first.
Other ways to come
Same ridge, different reasons.
Book direct
December goes first. Three tents.
